Right out of high school I started working for Kaiser Permanente and met Dustin Borklund in 1990, marrying 2 years later.
We were married for 16 years. I had quit working in 1998 to become a homemaker and full-time mom, on and off,
between part-time jobs. Our 3 children are Dustin James (DJ), born 1997; Riley Eve, born 2001; and Holden Paul, born 2004.
They are the best things that have happened to me aside from my boyfriend, Jeremy Dorse, who has been a
total God-send and wonderful addition to our lives. I am truly blessed! I went back to work in October 2009
after being mostly "at home mom" for the past 7 years. It has been a rough but exciting journey, with more exciting things to come!
I enjoy: Spending time with family and friends, reading, watching TV, hiking (which I want to do more),
my 2 dogs Jessy & Buddy, swimming and "beach-ing" with the kids and Jeremy.

We have a son named Tanner. He was born on September 5, 1998.
My interesting tidbit other than having a wonderful son, is that my husband and I
along with his best friend and wife own a vineyard & winery in Amador County (Northern CA). Our vineyard
and winery is called Frenz. Yes it is a play on words. My husband and our partner
have been friends for over 20 years. We have been open since January 2001 but have

I moved to Texas in 1999 and we married in 2001. In December 2002 I had my son, Joseph.
I have a fantastic family! We've been blessed—life is good. After MHS I took nursing courses at PCC,
got an EMT certificate, did nothing with it, and dropped out of nursing just before I got into design school.
I attended Art Center and Platt College, where I finished in 1997 and I'm now working at
National Geographic Society, School Publishing Division as a Design Project Manager.
I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since graduation. I hope to see you all in a couple of years!

I married Tim shortly after high school. Had my first son Trevor in 1993.
Moved to Biloxi, Mississippi in 1996 and had my second son Connor in 1998.
After realizing that we should not have married so young Tim and I divorced shortly after
Connor was born. I met my current husband Derek on the internet. He lived in Massachusetts, so I moved
there in 1999 and was married in 2001. My daughter, Alyssa Marie was born in August 2003.
I have been working for a large financial firm for 6 years now. I have my series 6 and series 63
NASD licenses allowing me to do financial planning and advising.I am finishing up schooling and will
be testing soon to achieve my series 7 license which will allow me to buy and sell stocks, bonds,
mutual funds as well as other securities within the state of Mass. My family still resides in

Went back to school for Vocational Nursing. Ever since I finished I’ve been given the opportunity to be in
management. I now work with the largest Senior Assisted Living company in the United States as the
Health and Wellness Director for one of the communities in Southern California. My wife is a
Patient Coordinator for a home health agency and also a nurse. I met my wife Rubi in
Monrovia - she graduated in 1995. We have a daughter name Zhailah Rosalie who is now 15 years old

I met my beautiful wife Denise in college back in 1990 and we have been together ever since.
We shared a common goal to raise our children near our families and we are blessed to have two
wonderful boys – Evan, born in December of 2000 and Ian, born in August of 2002. Ty and Denise together
spell D-E-S-T-I-N-Y with the extra E used to name our first son (I am a total sap)... Ian is named
after my favorite 80’s rock star and he has the personality to match. The boys have 11 middle names
between them. Post college, my plans were to become both a teacher and a coach – these goals are on hold
until the boys are out of college – I may just become the oldest NCAA rookie basketball coach in history someday.
That’s the plan anyway. I joined the E&J Gallo Winery out of college and worked there for 8 years in sales,
recruiting and various leadership positions (all skills needed to coach one day). Seeking to totally turn my life
upside down at age 31, I joined a medical laser company and moved the family to the OC. (We loved it but it was not Monrovia).
After 4 years, I became Director of US Sales and built the aesthetic division from scratch - yet another skill needed
to coach. We were able to move our family back to Monrovia in 2005 and plan to raise our family here – close to both
grandparents and great grand parents and friends. We live on Magnolia – ever seen the house with the 20 foot cactus?
That’s us. I am the proud coach of my son’s teams and I still love the Lakers passionately. The professional I model myself
most after is Pete Carroll – always keeping the balance between being competitive, having fun and preparing to be the best
every day. I try and study as much as I can to prepare myself for my next life transition…..love the journey so far and I
cannot wait for the days to come. I travel past MHS occasionally and remember both the great and hard times as well as
the many faces I saw almost every day of my life for so many years. It always brings a smile to my face.
The Guthaus family loves to spend as much time as possible in the desert at our place near the Colorado River.
On any given weekend at Water Wheel, you may find me floating down river at the end of the day listening to the
Lightfoot classic Sundown or Dobie Gray’s Drift Away. Or I just may be that Dad playing
either basketball or baseball with his boys under the electric blue and orange sky...

so I moved back to Monrovia. In 1992, I moved to Kentucky and was in and out of
Kentucky State University, just didn't like it. Now I am working as an Administrative
Specialist for the State of Kentucky and I volunteer my time after work helping
kids at the local community center. I love it and wouldn't trade it for the
world. I also have a son, 7 years old named Colden Avery Mitchell who lives

I'm working for Zack Electronics in Duarte. Al Delgado (also graduated in 1989 from MHS)
and I started going out right after High School and we are still together. We're still
living in Monrovia!!! Al and I have two daughters: Lorraine (13) who will be attending
MHS in Fall 2005 and Angela (6) who will be starting 2nd grade at Bradoaks Elementary School.
We are also in the process of adopting my sister's daughter. Her name is Justine and she is two
years old. Al and I have had temporary custody of her since Fall 2004. She actually was going to
a foster home if we didn't step up to the plate. We love her just like a daughter and wouldn't give
her up to the system!

I have been married to my wife Betsy (who hails from Chile) for almost 7 years now.
I met her while I was playing on my softball team. Although she was kinda dating another
friend from the team, we hit it off and he didn't mind if we went out...The rest is history
and we are all still friends. We live in Arcadia, yeah I know..still a local boy, no kids yet, however
we do have 1 dog and 6 cats. Needless to say, we have a small hair issue in the house.
I am a territory manager for Youngs Market Company LLC. We are the state's second
largest distributor of wine and spirits. I have certifications in the wine making
process and spirit distillation. You may have heard of some of our brands: Jack Daniels,
Bacardi, Grey Goose, Seagrams, Sutter Home, Kenwood, Rosemount, Bolla, not to mention hundreds
of other brands. Who would have thought all of the weekend get togethers would have meant
something to my career..hehe. I still see my best friends Kai Karlsson and Dave Leek almost weekly, and I intend to
